| About Us:
Blackpool Strategic Partnership began its work in 2001 and this is the second Community Strategy we have produced. The Partnership has already delivered real improvements for example, through Reassurance Plus, a multi-agency approach to Neighbourhood Management and the introduction of ‘Springboard’ – a multi-agency approach to helping deprived families, which has been independently evaluated to demonstrate its added value. In October 2010, Springboard was named by the Government as one of 16 'place based budget' projects that will make use of pooled funding that can be directed to families as and when they need support.
Blackpool's Sustainable Community Strategy was launched in July 2008 and is a 20 year plan which sets out the aspirations for Blackpool.
Meet the Partnership:
Blackpool Strategic Partnership is a voluntary partnership of organisations and stakeholders from the Public, Private and Third Sector in Blackpool. Everyone involved in the Partnership shares a common goal, which is to make Blackpool "a great place to visit, an even better place to live".
As with any organisation a successful partnership relies on strong leadership. Blackpool Strategic Partnership is steered by the BSP Board, which is a group of 8 individuals who represent wider partners from across the sectors.
