Strategic Aim

By 2028, Blackpool will provide a high quality, attractive and safe environment which offers good housing and high performing schools that attract families and professional couples.

Communities will be thriving and active because neighbours know each other and there are local facilities where people can meet and interact. The quality of life for communities will be further enhanced by safe, open green public spaces and a clean environment with low levels of litter, graffiti, and drug and alcohol misuse, especially for those communities living in our priority neighbourhoods.

Waste will be managed in a sustainable and integrated way, (re-using, recycling, composting and recovering more value from waste) biodiversity will be preserved and we will ensure that we tackle and adapt to the effects of climate change.
